Question:
I bought a beautiful glass prism in your shop. It is clear glass, round and it can be hung in a window etc. Do these have any special meaning? I am learning about crystal meditation and wonder if this has anything to do with that. Thanks for your help. I love your shop and the staff is very helpful.
Sincerely,
Susan
Salandrea's Answer:
Hi Susan,
The prism type crystals or real quartz crystals are use in the art of Feng Shui as an energy tool to disperse and balance Chi (energy) in the home. On a vibrational level it brings in light where there is congestion or heaviness in an area. They can also bring energy into an area of a room that feels lifeless and empty.
I have some in my windows. They affect the Chi of the area and, at the same time, create beautiful rainbows through out the room when the sun hits them. We have several books on Feng Shui that will be offered on-line within a month or so in our new Feng Shui page. I would suggest reading about Feng Shui. I think you will find it most interesting.

Question: What do you recommend to get rid of planter's wart on the ball
of one's foot?
Salandrea's Answer: I would recommend taking an approach that addresses planter's warts with local treatment as well as working on the inside of the body. The reason you would want to do this is that warts are a fungus that thrive when the conditions are right. This may be a sign that the inner ecology of the body is such that it is supporting fungus, yeast or other pathogenic substances. A simple protocol to start with is:
Probiotics - I would do at least a 3 month regimen to establish a healthy flora in the intestinal tract. A healthy flora begins the process of creating a healthy inner ecology that fungus, invasive bacteria, and yeast cannot thrive in, no matter where they manifest. Please refer to article on Probiotcs.
Colloidal Silver - I encourage you to read more about this amazing product. Clinical studies have shown it's powerful anit-bacterial, anti-yeast and anti-fungal action. It also has been tested on toxic conditions with positive results.
Homeopathic Thuja ointment and remedy - This is a specific for warts and can be done in conjunction with the other remedies. The ointment is applied directly to affected area and the homoepathic remedy is taken by mouth.
Foot Soaks - I would recommend pampering the feet with products that have antifungal action.
Foot Powder - Keep feet dry, cool, and protected. Refer to Footzy Fetish Collection.
If you or anyone reading this is interested in further information on this protocol and product. Please email me directly. We are offering a discount package and free shipping.

Question: I have been drinking 4 herb formula as directed for approximately 3 months. Is this a good tea to drink as a possible preventitive to cancer? I have not been diagnosed with cancer; though it has helped stomach problems that I was having.
Sincerely,
Claudine
Salandrea's Answer: The 4 Herb formula is comprised of herbs that work on toxins and pathogenic substances in the blood. They assist important eliminative and detoxifying organs such as the liver and kidneys. This formula can be beneficial to the intestinal tract due to its anti fungal and anti yeast properties.
Burdock, in particular, contains high amounts of inulin and is considered a mucilage. This could explain its soothing affects on the gastrointestinal tract. Turkey Rhubarb has a powerful affect on the colon, as well as the liver. Slippery Elm is soothing and nourishing to many of the systems in the body. Sheep Sorrell is very highin nutrients and trace elemnts, oneof them being silicon. This element is essential for the nerves and the myelin sheaths in the body.
When 4 Herb is used as part of a preventative program, I recommend taking a month or 2 off after a 3 month use, to avoid long term use. For additional information on 4 Herb and how to order refer to our 4-Herb Pages.
Question: Hello, I recently wrote you to ask about an herb I purchased there today. But there are a couple of others that I got there today. That aren't in any of my herb books and I would like more information on them if possible. There magical properties. If they are ok to make teas out of and dring and any info you can give to me on them. What they can help with concerning your health. I have checked every herb book I have, I have a lot of them. And these 4 are just not in them. Rosehips, Lemon Balm, Psyllium seeds, and marshmellow. When I say magical properties I mean if they are a good herb for luck, protection, Healing, Purification, Love, Money, Relax/Sleep, strength, etc. Any info you can give me on these herbs would be greatly appreciated. I have no clue what they are good for. The store was busy. I went in with a list and you didn't have much that was on my list so I just started to pick things off the shelf. I also make homemade soap and want to know if it would be ok to use any of these in the soap. Whatever you can tell me about these herbs would be great. Thanks so much for your help. The store was so busy when I was there I forgot to use my coupon that I got sent through email. Until after I got rung up and my friend was ringing up her stuff she got. The lady said it was too late to use than. (Hopefully next time). Thanks.

Salandrea's Answer:
In ancient times, Marshmallow was used as a funeral herbe, as a blessing on the graves. It is an herb associated with Venus. We do know Venus energy is about loving and nurturing. Medicinally, it is extremely valuable. It is protective and nourishing to the body, and is used for congestion and inflammation of the mucous membranes. It can be used in poultices to draw out inflammation from bug bites and stings. It is great in milk and honey as a soothing drink or as tea. You can add it to soups at the end but you may want to remove the root as it would be a bit chewy.
Rosehip also called rose haw is the fruit of the rose plant. Typically it come from Rosa canina, Dog Rose. It embodies many of the same energetic properties of the rose but is more expansive and evolved, having the energy of Jupiter. According to lore, it gives the understanding of how one relates to the outside world, and helps balance giving and receiving. Medicinally, it is very high in Vitamin C, great in cold remedies. It is used in formulas for urinary infections, headaches and dizziness. It is a source of antioxidant flavanoids. You can use this in soups, teas and tonics. It imparts a sweetness to what you make so perhaps this would be good in a root vegetable soup such as squash or sweet yams.
The milky sap of Psyllium Seed is known to have magical properties. I really do not know exactly what the lore of magic is realting to this herb. Medicinally, the seed is high in fiber. It is often used in formulas to correct imbalances of the intestinal tract. You need to drink lots of water when using this herbe. It is not indicated for everyone.
Lemon Balm or Melissa is the herbe of romance and often used to attract romance on ones life. It also embodies the love that is like a mother's love, unconditional and nurturing. It is the herbe of Venus. Medicinally, Lemon balm is very calming to the nervous system. When it is combined with herbs such as Valerian, it is indicated for stress and insomnia. It can be used informulas to improve appetite. There are studies that show when Lemon Balm is used as an ointment, it helps mouth and lip sores associated with herpes. I use it in many of my formulas, ointments and teas. The leaves contain tannins and the oil contains terpenes, which may explain the anti viral affects.
I hope this gives you some insight into, both the energetic, and medicinal uses of the herbs you purchased.
Blessings, Salandrea
